Bill Twiffer:
The best way to approach a homeowner is homeowner first. “Hi, my name is, Bill. I was at the courthouse the other day. I noticed your lender had publicly posted your home for sale. I specialize in helping folks like you solve their problems, and I was wondering what can I do to help?” See it's all about what I can do to help. “What can I do to help you out of your situation?” There’s a lot of investors out there that have been in foreclosure before. They can go up and say, “Listen, I've been in your position before. I know exactly what you're going through.” That is such a plus for some investors. They have no idea how big of a plus that is for them.
Tom:
Okay. So what are you basic form of investing, Bill?
Bill Twiffer:
My basic form of investing is single-family residents, multi units, that kind of stuff. We do short sales and wholesaling is basically what we do.
Tom:
Okay. Do you coach people through deals?
Bill Twiffer:
Yes, I do. I have a coaching program where I have about 55 or 60 students in right now. They pay my certain fee every month and they call me up and I coach them through their deals, help them do whatever they got to do to get successful.
Tom:
Okay. Operator can you pause the call, please? Operator are you there? Hello. Hello. He has us on a call. Hey, Bill, here’s a deal.
Bill Twiffer:
All right.
Tom:
Okay. I'm going to lay them all out for you. I ask you all the questions that they sent me. There's like 11 of them here. And you talk for 11 minutes.
Bill Twiffer:
Good.
Tom:
But, this isn’t going to work. We need to talk for an hour and then go into a close.
Bill Twiffer:
Let me go through my presentation.
Tom:
But what else am I going ask you. I just asked you the last question.
Bill Twiffer:
You - you know what? You just go in and you say, “You know what, Bill, that’s sounds great.” And I’ll go right in, I’ll let you but in a few times. Okay?
Tom:
Okay. Because I thought -
Bill Twiffer:
Let me ask you this. All right. The 11 questions, the questions you have, that will take me - I could have told you that would take me ten minutes to answer those.
Tom:
Okay. Because I thought I was going to ask you these questions and then that was your presentation.
Bill Twiffer:
Ah, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. My presentation is a whole different thing. So I do that -Tom:
Okay. Okay. See I - Okay. I got you.
Bill Twiffer:
- Then I do my presentation. I talk about all kinds of stuff. And you could fall right into it.
